2018 - The Year of Food and Drink
Working with food and drink clients as diverse as Scottish Eau De Vie, Craft Gin, Luxury Chocolate, Italian Ice-Cream, Artisan Jam and even Epic Bacon, we can’t help but be buoyed by the amount of support and opportunities available to Scotland’s Food & Drink industry as a whole.
Overseen by Scotland Food & Drink, a £250k fund was announced last week to help promote regional produce. This is but the latest example of a shared commitment to build on Scotland’s reputation for producing exceptional food and drink and further developing the region across a global and more diverse market.
Never is this more apparent than in the North East of Scotland, where Opportunity North East have made a ten-year commitment to growing the Food & Drink sector in the region and where new festivals like Inspired Nights look to help local bars and restaurants show off what makes them unique. Couple this with organisations like the Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Enterprise and Elevator continuing to help businesses and entrepreneurs grow and flourish - it is an exciting time to be part of it all and much more besides.
Working alongside some pioneering Scottish food and drink brands, we are confident that what we have to offer helps our clients enjoy many of the opportunities as they grow and succeed. We encourage everyone to grasp any support open to them so that your brand story can be heard and contribute to the broader theme that Food and Drink ‘Brand Scotland’ provides.
If you have a story to tell, a new exciting product to launch or you just want to be part of the new wave of food and drink producers, drop by for a coffee (probably by a client roaster of ours) so we can chat over how we can help you make an impact in 2018 and beyond.
