

Vero - a quick look.
The team worked on naming, brand creation and website development with this unique financial recruitment company – a specialist wife/husband team with expertise and a refreshingly forward-thinking, people-centric approach.


After many years of working at a high level in the recruitment industry, and finding their niche in the financial sector, Andrew and Becca Ferguson took some time away from work to welcome their son William into the world.
As they neared the end of this time out growing a family, their attention turned to how they would approach their careers and home life when they returned to work – and gradually they began to develop a vision of a new recruitment consultancy that would be:
- Unashamedly selective
- Relationship-driven
- Based on exclusivity and trust

Through initial meetings and discovery, we got to know Becca and Andrew, their background and their vision for what this new as-yet-unnamed company would stand for.
The naming process was a key aspect of the initial brand development phase. Amid a wide array of options, the moniker that clicked into place across all important categories (meaning/aesthetic/'sounding right') was Vero – a linguistic nod to the truth and authenticity at the heart of this brand.
With this part established, we progressed with brand development, visual identity and messaging work, while moving the website into development – a digital presence that elegantly showcases their experience, aims and offering.

With this simple but powerful message, Vero launched in December 2019.
