From Historic Castles to Heritage Breeds
While we know much of the Scottish business community has been adversely affected by the combination of COVID and Brexit, it's important to look at where some have thrived and developed their plans, regardless of the larger issues that surround us.
There is much to celebrate and admire across Scotland right now. Organisations, businesses and leaders who are challenging themselves and their sectors — and some of whom we have been fortunate to work with. Rural 'diversification' is a key area that deserves spotlight and should inspire others — the farms, estates, and producers who have looked to grow their business across a broader range of areas, and have invested heavily to do so, have found success and put their best foot forward as we look to emerge from these twin crises.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing some of this — both to showcase a bit of work that we're pleased with and to shed light on some of these successes. It's proof positive that Scotland's natural entrepreneurial spirit prevails in good times and in bad.
